Hi Kerri, We just wanted to say a big thank you for making our stay at Radford's so relaxing and pleasurable. It was a difficult time for us, as we said, but you did everything to make it as enjoyable as it possibly could be. The view was wonderful, the apartment was spotless and the friendliness we received from you all was really nice. You went out of your way to make our stay so good, even to the point of helping with our washing! We will have so many happy memories of our time in New Zealand, especially being at Te Anau. I had booked Radford's on the Lake (A+) well in advance and had talked to Kerri on the phone. "No worries" was the answer... Their website notes they were the best hosts in the country in 2013... I started expecting something special. Well, they have 2014 locked up in my book! If there's a more welcoming place in New Zealand I'd be surprised. Eight for dinner at Redcliff? Lovely! Organizing the Glowworm caves... Brilliant! Fiordland Tours to Milford Sound... Delightful! She did everything but tuck us in...I just didn't think to ask... So check out TripAdvisor and anything else...many of the comments going up now will be from those who visited with me. Kerri, Steve and the team at Radford's deliver...all day...every day. And a special mention to Alan from Fiordland Tours who shepherded us to Milford Sound and showed us all those special spots along the way. Another great welcoming Kiwi who shared so many great stories with us. We're all wishing you the best as you sit back, open that cold beer, and look out over Manapouri. Reading over the last reviews, I can only echo the words of others. To say that I am a detail person would be an understatement; and I was very, very satisfied with everything, including the view (worthy of a landscape painting), the hospitality, the layout of the rooms, the cleanliness (outstanding) and services. We loved our holiday so much that we were planning our second trip before we had even reached home soil (Queensland, Aust). The only stipulation to our travel agent on our return was to re-book us into Radfords Lake View Motel at Te Anau. Our stay at Radfords with Kerri was the absolute highlight of our trip and we were determined to stay a little longer this year. Kerri is an outstanding host that welcomes you into her life, community and home and delivers hospitality with so much passion and genuine love of showcasing Te Anau and surrounds to its visitors. The facilities at Radfords are meticulously clean and welcoming for tourists that have been away from home for a while and in desperate need of spoiling and comfort. Beds are so comfortable and the little touches in the rooms (chocolates on the bedside, little vases with fresh flowers, bath sachets, heaters on) enhance the welcome. Laundry facilities are plentiful and if you are lucky like I was this year Kerri even keeps an eye on your laundry while you are out enjoying yourself. We loved the fact that we were encouraged to experience some fantastic local dining experiences and just enjoy our time and relax. We realise nothing is a success without amazing support people and the staff are so friendly and honestly make you feel nothing is too much trouble. And, like last year we were planning our 2014 trip before we had left Kerri and Radfords...only next year we are planning even longer! Don't miss staying at this welcoming place. Still having good remembrance of your excellent hospitality, thank you. Enjoying the room with the best view, it was fantastic. We were in the first part of our NZ-trip, when we stayed at your place,still 6 1/2 weeks ahead of us. To say: our trip was a total success!!!!
